Completing the integration stage can be lengthy and complex. Depending on the software you choose, there could be hundreds of potential configurations that are needed. This could include: confirming how your stock is valued – do you use a periodic or perpetual inventory system? Are all users and permissions confirmed and correctly assigned? What is the confirmed order/stages of your orders and workflows? Have you created rules for your warehouse/s?
We offer two types of integration; one is available for listed integrations which are already with trusted systems that we support (for example DEAR to Xero or Shopify to DEAR) and custom integrations. For listed integrations, we’ll configure the required settings for your old system to the new system, taking your merged and formatted data and checking and testing it at every stage to make sure everything is available for you to use. The next step is for us to link all of your software together to make sure they can communicate and share information automatically – and correctly.
Linking your inventory software to your sales and accounting platforms will allow you to eliminate the need for double-entry of data, reduce the risk of human error and save your team huge amounts of time. In addition, you’ll see a reduction in costs and you’ll be in a position to keep your stock up-to-date.
If you need something more complex or bespoke to your business, we can develop a custom system for you through our integration service. We’ll delve into your specific requirements and how you need your apps to communicate with one another. Once we have an idea of what’s required, our team of experts will develop a bespoke code for you, whether this is needed for a new system, such as a bespoke website or for 3rd party warehouses. See our Software Development service page for more information on custom integration and bespoke development available from us.
