Wildsmith Skin Scales with Confidence
Background
Founded in 2018, Wildsmith Skin is a British manufacturer and retailer based in London. The brand specialises in skincare products that harness the health benefits of botanical ingredients, with sustainability at its core. Despite only launching a few years earlier, Wildsmith Skin quickly built a prestigious list of stockists including Harrods.
The challenge
Wildsmith Skin was running its operations on Microsoft Excel and AccountsIQ. For a fast-growing manufacturer and retailer, that wasn’t sustainable. The business had outgrown spreadsheets and faced a more complex challenge than most. As a company that both manufactures and sells its own products, it needed a system that could handle the full picture, from bills of materials and assembly through to sales, fulfilment and third-party logistics.
The team knew they needed new software, but weren’t sure which system would be the right fit for a young, rapidly scaling business.
The solution
BlueHub began with a thorough review of Wildsmith Skin’s existing processes, working through every stage of the operation, from manufacturing and assembly to sales and shipping. That deep-dive led BlueHub to recommend Cin7 Core as the best fit for the business.
Because Wildsmith Skin was still building some processes from scratch, BlueHub helped them design and implement workflows that would support growth, rather than simply replicating what they already had. The team led training sessions remotely, tested and reviewed the new processes, and ensured that Cin7 Core was fully integrated with finance software, Xero. Wildsmith now uses Cin7 in three markets: UK, USA and Ireland.
