Getting More from an Existing System

Background

Founded in 2013, LoveRaw is a British vegan chocolate brand on a mission to make plant-based chocolate that actually tastes like chocolate. The brand sells through its own DTC channel as well as through retail and wholesale, and has built a loyal following for its no-compromise approach to ingredients and flavour.

LoveRaw already had Cin7 Core in place when they came to BlueHub. The system was running, but the business wasn’t getting the full value from it. Integrations with Shopify, Xero and their third-party logistics providers weren’t working as well as they should, the team’s understanding of the system was limited, and reporting and inventory management were falling short of what the business needed.

The challenge

Having a system in place and getting real value from it are two different things. LoveRaw had invested in Cin7 Core, but a combination of incomplete integrations, gaps in team knowledge and processes that hadn’t been set up correctly meant the business wasn’t seeing the operational benefits.

The specific problems were familiar ones: stock data that couldn’t be fully trusted, reporting that required too much manual effort, integrations with Shopify and Xero that weren’t flowing cleanly and 3PL connectivity that left gaps in visibility. The team knew the system could do more but they needed expert help.

The solution

BlueHub began with a system audit, working through LoveRaw’s existing Cin7 Core setup to identify where the gaps were and what needed to be fixed or reconfigured. That diagnostic-first approach meant BlueHub could prioritise the work that would have the most immediate operational impact.

The integration between Cin7 Core and LoveRaw’s 3PL providers was overhauled, ensuring clean data flow between fulfilment and the core system. The Shopify and Xero integrations were reviewed and corrected, removing the reconciliation issues that had been creating problems in both stock and finance reporting.

Alongside the technical work, BlueHub provided training to improve the team’s understanding of the system covering how to use Cin7 Core’s features effectively and how to get reliable data out of it. BlueHub also put in place ongoing support through regular calls, giving the LoveRaw team a reliable resource to call on as the business continued to grow and evolve.
