Modus Brands specialises in sourcing and distributing premium consumer tech, with a strong focus drones, quadcopters, e-mobility & transport. They work with UK retailers and custom installers, offering high-spec products backed by deep category expertise and excellent support.
Modus had outgrown their existing D2C-focused systems, which lacked the flexibility and features needed to support their growing B2B sales. Key issues included:
- No visibility of true landed costs (e.g. duty, freight, insurance)
- No structured way to manage customer accounts
- Poor reporting tools and limited stock control
- A manual, spreadsheet-driven sales process
- Returns were difficult to track and manage
As their product range and sales channels expanded, so did the need for an integrated system that could support more complex operations, and scale with the business.
BlueHub led the implementation of a new digital operations platform based on Cin7 Core, supported by:
- Xero for seamless accounting
- Shopify and eBay for ecommerce and marketplace sales
- Shipstation for fulfilment and shipping integration
To ensure a smooth transition, BlueHub delivered in-person training at Modus’s Crawley office, helping the team get confident with new workflows from the start.
