Still not convinced? Let us do the testing

See how your business works in a new inventory system – and get the proof you need before you commit

If you’ve been thinking seriously about a new inventory management system, you’ve probably wanted a chance to play around and test things out.

But there’s a whole host of problems that stand in your way:

You haven't been trained to use the software

You don't know the limits of its functions – and the kinds of problems you might find in practice.

You don't know how to test your own data and processes from every angle

And you don't know which processes and data points are the most urgent or critical

And to top it all off?

Most inventory software systems come with a free trial of just 14 days.

Even with all of the knowledge and expertise we’ve outlined, it takes an experienced consultant 10-40 hours of testing before they can know that a particular app is right for your business.

That’s why the initial Pilot Project is so important

It’s a chance to see how your own products and data will work in your new inventory system. It’s a chance to encounter any limits or obstacles at an early stage – and to learn about the ways you can work around them.

(It’s also a great way to cut straight to the chase. You’ll get a direct look into how an inventory app works specifically with your business, without any of the usual sales and marketing hype that surrounds it.)

What happens in the Pilot Project?

We’ll start by gathering real examples from your business: product data, purchase orders, and sales invoices.

We’ll then import all of that data into the inventory system we’ve recommended for you.

(At this stage, we’ll be using one of our partner accounts for testing – which means you won’t need to buy any software until you know it’s the right one for your business!)

Together you and one of our experts can then work through your data inside the inventory system – either through a video call or with an on-site visit.

What will we be looking for?

In the Exploration Stage, you’ll have talked with your consultants about everything your business needs from a new piece of inventory software.

That could mean things like:

From these talks, we’ll draw up a list of every feature that you need.

We’ll then run your data through the new software and test each of the features you’ve requested.

We’ll then run your data through the new software and test each of the features you’ve requested.

(We’ll also find any limitations at an early stage, and recommend ways for you to adjust your processes to keep everything running smoothly.)

But you won’t have to take our word for it. We’ll show you ourselves:

Through out Pilot Project Workshops, you’ll be able to see your data as it works its ways through your new software

And that also means you’ll get a first-hand look at how the software we recommended is right fit for what your business needs.

What will I get at the end of the Pilot Project?

Once we’ve tested your data and proven that the features you need all work, we’ll draw up a report for you to keep and reference.

You’ll get to see all of these things in one of our Pilot Project Workshops (either online or face-to-face).

You’ll also get a recording of each of these workshops – so if you still have questions later, you can go back and review everything we’ve worked on together.

So no matter what you choose to do next, you’ll have all the information you need, ready and waiting for you to make the best decision for your business.

In that report, we’ll go over:

A summary of our findings from the Pilot Project

A list of any of your business processes that need to change

A map of any new processes you'll need – and how they fit into your business

(And if that means you don’t choose BlueHub – no problem! You’ll be going away fully equipped with a permanent record of every useful bit of knowledge we’ve uncovered.)

You’ll have seen:

How your own products and data work inside your recommended cloud app

Proof that your recommended app can handle all of the features your business needs

And the steps you and your team need to take - with a solid project plan in place

What happens after the Pilot Project?

At this stage, you should have everything you need to make a decision.

Once we’ve given you all the reports and video recordings from the Exploration Stage and the Pilot Project, we’ll give you a proposal and a quote for the project ahead.

We’ll then check back with you at a later date to see what you think. And if you’re ready to move forward, we’ll get started on Stage 4 – Making the Move.
